  • September 10 — Fall Board Meeting at Ocoee High School
  • October 3 - 7 — Registration Window
  • October 14 — Registration Packets due to Mr. Cook, playwriting submissions and one act synopsis due to district5thespians@gmail.com.  No changes to personnel may be made after this date.
  • October 13 -18 — Change Window to resolve conflicts in event schedule.
  • November 1 — Title change deadline.  No changes to an event can be made after this date.  Any dropped events after this date will be assessed a $15 fee.
  • November 17-19 — District 5 Thespian Festival @ Dr. Phillips High School
  • December 9-January 9 — State Registration Window
  • January 19 — Stage Registration Materials Deadline (in hand, not postmarked)
  • March 16-19 — State Festival in Tampa, FL

Registration for the District 5 Thespian Festival is completed online at the registration website.  If you're new to the system, please see the on-line registration instructions.

Once you've completed your registration online, the following documents must be mailed to the District Chairperson: 

  • check
  • signed principal's agreement 
  • proof of royalties for your one act (if applicable)
  • scholarship applications (if applicable) 
  • a printout of the billing page from the registration website
